Smoking Cessation
Helping you to quit smoking
The NHS smoking cessation service offers free advice and support to help you quit smoking.
We understand that quitting smoking isn’t easy, which is why our trained, professional staff are here to help you with the advice and support needed to quit.
Your first appointment
Your first appointment will take place with the pharmacist in our private consultation room. We’ll discuss your smoking habit, why you want to quit, and if you’ve tried in the past.
Once you’ve decided on a quit date, the pharmacist will provide you with information and support on how to quit.
Quit smoking aids
The pharmacist will be able to show you a range of aids to help you quit smoking. Aids can be provided free of charge to patients who are exempt from NHS prescription charges.
Follow-up appointments
To help ensure you stay on track with quitting smoking, we’ll arrange several follow-up appointments.
How much does the service cost?
The NHS smoking cessation service is free of charge to anyone who wants to quit smoking. Simply speak with the pharmacist to get started.
